This makes gardeners wonder if they should include them in their ornamental gardening plans, as it conjures up images of supermarket produce. Allium Purple Rain is known for it’s huge, round, purple 6″ diameter flower heads. Attracts wildlife such as bees and butterflies, and like most alliums make for an excellent cut flower. One of a kind. Good to pair with our Allium Purple Sensation, which blooms earlier in the season. The leaves will wither away before it flowers. Bursts of color much like fireworks.
